Growing Britain’s Woodlands: Our Partnership with Treeapp

1st September 2025

Woodland covers just 13% of the UK, significantly less than many of our European neighbours. At the same time, existing forests are under pressure, and native wildlife populations continue to decline.

At Odyssey, we believe building a responsible business means investing beyond our sector. That’s why we have partnered with Treeapp to support the restoration of native woodland habitats across the UK.

Through this partnership, we help fund the planting of native tree species, including Aspen, Crab Apple, Field Maple and Common Oak. These trees are carefully selected to suit local ecosystems and are planted under the guidance of forestry experts who monitor their long-term health and development.

Restoring native woodland plays an important role in supporting biodiversity, improving climate resilience and contributing to the UK’s broader environmental targets. As these habitats mature, they provide shelter and food for wildlife such as Lapwing, Grey Partridge, Tree Sparrow and Yellow Wagtail, species that have seen significant habitat loss over recent decades.

To make our commitment tangible, we plant a tree for every new contractor and agency partner that joins Odyssey. Each new working relationship contributes directly to restoring woodland and strengthening the natural environment.

As we grow, so does our positive impact.
